I'm a post graduate researcher and teacher in art history (working title on thesis:
"Artist grants and cultural policy. Svenska Kulturfonden, Föreningen Konstsamfundet and The Finnish Arts Council 2000-2004."
I also work as a freelance writer and illustrator.
I've been publishing illustrations for about ten years (and drawing for as long as I can
remember). I've also sporadically written articles for magazines and newspapers, this year I'm writing for a web portal on
education and work (Opintoluotsi).
I
currently live in Turku, Finland with my partner (a philosopher and
science journalist)
and our son Wilmer Zacharias born in september
2005.
